Our hands-on training takes place in well-equipped simulation labs and at affiliated healthcare facilities, allowing students to gain real-world experience and apply their knowledge in clinical practice.

We focus not only on clinical skills but also on the importance of communication, critical thinking, and teamwork in nursing. Our faculty comprises experienced healthcare professionals who mentor and guide students throughout their studies.

Application Requirements

To be considered for admission into the Nursing Science program at the University of Gitwe, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Bachelor of Science in General Nursing

To be considered for admission into the Nursing Science program at the University of Gitwe, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Subject Combination

Have done one of the following subjects' combination at A Level and having at least two (2) Principal Passes with at least grade C in both Chemistry and Biology: Physics-Chemistry-Biology, Mathematics-Chemistry-Biology, Biology-Chemistry-Biology. Or

Certificates

Having A2 Certificate in Nursing Sciences with at least Tow(2) Principal Passes in Core Subjects.

Advanced Diploma in General Nursing Science (A1)

o be admitted this program, the prospective candidates must fulfil the following minimum entry requirements:

Have done one of the following subjects' combination at A Level and having at least two (2) Principal Passes with at least grade D in both Chemistry and Biology: Physics-Chemistry-Biology, Mathematics-Chemistry-Biology, Biology-Chemistry-Biology. Or
