Visiting the Admissions Welcome Center is your chance to immerse yourself in the University of Gitwe (UG) undergraduate experience. From the classroom, campus life, internships, and study abroad, you will get to KNOW UG and see how we use inquiry, discovery, and knowledge to serve the greater good.
You’ll participate in an information session presented by one of our admissions professionals. Most, but not all, visits include a guided campus tour , when you register, please do not forget to plan a tour visit at our campus.

Campus Tours
Before traveling to the university, please visit the homepage of the UG website. In the event of an emergency, the university operating status will be posted there.
To ensure you have a personalized, engaging experience, space is limited for our tours and information sessions. As such, we ask that you register in advance of your visit.

The university is located at Gitwe, a city of Bweramana Sector situated in Ruhango District, Southern Province in Rwanda, just 50 km west-away from Ruhango city and 50 km north-away from NYANZA city.
